Great for winter and it doesn’t overheat. If I heat this up and put it in my bed at night it is still warm even in the morning. Great for warming up the bed or as a targeted heat treatment for injuries/pain. The only things I don’t like is the awkward plug.

Hotpod heat pack what a great buy, plug in heats in 10 minutes retains heat up to 3 hours better then any heat pack that you use in microwave, highly recommended

As an endo/adeno girly I love this product. It holds heat longer than a wheat bag and not as dicey as a gel pack. But they die after less than a year. It still heats, but it infaltes more and more the older it gets and the charger will not heat it once it gets too inflated. Therefore I am currently holding the charger down while waiting for the pack to get to max heat. Will I order it again? Yes. Could it be better? Also yes.

This is so much easier to use than a hot water bottle. I keep the charger next to the bed and can recharge at any time during the night. The heat lasts a long time. It doesn’t take long to charge to full heat but it can be partly charged to be used warm rather than hot. It is quite heavy and thick so not very useful for applying to neck and upper back unless lying down on it, but great for legs and lower back and for warmth in bed or chair. The only downside is that the cover is hard to keep on.

It’s easy to use, and very popular amongst our staff who keep “borrowing” them. We have now purchased them 5 times for our clinic. We haven’t had them for over a year yet though. I wouldn’t say they last all day but it a cold environment they’ve stayed hot for 4 hours. We use them without their covers.

    Efficient heat pack.

Doesn’t get as warm as it should. The charger feels super flimsy, not good for travel because if that thing breaks, you’re screwed.

These effectively are a combination of a kettle and a hot water bottle. They are a heat pack full of liquid, that heats up/boils when you plug the charger into it.We have used these for multiple years, they last about a year before you need to replace them. You know they need replacing when they swell up a heap and don’t heat up properly. We have never had a leak or any issues like that. These do get pretty hot so I would suggest using the cover, plus using the cover seems to keep the heat in so it stays hot longer. These stay warm for longer than microwave heat packs and we find these easier to use as we have movement related disabilities and so instead of needing to get to the kitchen to boil water/microwave. we can use the charger in any room we are in.
