Let’s Talk Endo – Webinar Replay with Endometriosis New Zealand
Gynaecologist and Clinical Advisory Committee Member for ENZ, Sarah, discusses the symptoms of endometriosis.
This includes chronic pelvic pain, heavy periods, fatigue, and digestive issues, while exploring the significant physical impacts of endometriosis. Sarah will also highlight how the severity of endometriosis can vary depending on the stage of the disease and the individual, with symptoms differing based on the extent of the condition and its location.
Psychologist and Clinical Advisory Committee Member for ENZ, Andy, addresses the emotional and mental health challenges associated with endometriosis, sharing practical strategies to build resilience and cope with the condition. Also providing tips on how to talk about endo from a mental health perspective—suggesting conversation starters, ways to validate experiences, and methods to foster an open, supportive dialogue among friends, family, and colleagues.

Connecting with others can have a wonderfully positive impact on those living with chronic conditions such as Endometriosis, Adenomyosis and pelvic pain. These events can offer a chance to share your experience, discuss feelings and emotions with others who understand what you’re going through, and to make new friends.
