$50 million donation for Endometriosis Research Centre in Australia

Tuesday 20th May 2025 was a momentous day in Endometriosis research and for the community.

$50 million, the single largest donation to Endometriosis research in the world and largest donation to women’s health in Australia, was gifted to the UNSW (University of New South Wales) by the Ainsworth family.

This donation will be distributed over 10 years to establish and maintain the newly created Ainsworth Endometriosis Research Centre (AERI).

The Ainsworth Endometriosis Research Institute is more than an exceptional research institute; it is hope. Hope for those living with endometriosis now and in the future, that they will be able to live full, happy and healthy lives
