Endometriosis Awareness Month Event

Galilee School invites you to a free health talk on understanding severe period pain, pelvic pain and endometriosis hosted by PPEP Talk®.
This free evening session for parents, families and carers, offers an overview of what students have learned and practical strategies to help support your child in managing period pain, pelvic pain, and endometriosis.
When: 5.30 – 6.30pm, Wednesday 5 March 2025
Where: Galilee School, Holder Campus, 172 Dixon Drive, Holder.

- De-mystifies period pain, pelvic pain and endometriosis.
- Helps those who experience pelvic pain to understand their pain and manage it effectively.
- Helps friends, family and partners to understand what people with pelvic pain go through and how best to support them.
- Provides pain management strategies and ways to cope.
- Explains when and where to go for extra help.

- 1 in 7 people assigned female at birth have endometriosis.
- 1 in 12 people assigned male at birth experience period pain.

Connecting with others can have a wonderfully positive impact on those living with chronic conditions such as Endometriosis, Adenomyosis and pelvic pain. These events can offer a chance to share your experience, discuss feelings and emotions with others who understand what you’re going through, and to make new friends.
